BILLERICAY TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB - When we took over at the club we were looking for an upgrade on our programmes to enhance the matchday experience as we feel that a printed programme is a staple of any sporting event. After some research we decided to use Kingpin Sports Design as they are so passionate when it comes to anything sport. We discussed the specifications of the programmes, the materials and the content of which they had some great ideas of what should go into a programme and what the fans want to see and read about.

In addition they assisted some of our sponsors who's adverts and logos were not of the greatest quality and re-designed these so that they looked magnificent in the programmes.

In our first season we had some draws in the FA Cup which required a programme to be turned around in a very short space of time for the replays and somehow these were produced in the always very high standards that we have become accustomed to from Kingpin Sports Design.

The quality and content saw us awarded the best programmes of the season for 2018/19 and we must applaud Kingpin Sports Design for their work throughout our ongoing relationship.

RAIDERS ICE HOCKEY CLUB - Kingpin Sports Design have been producing the match night magazines for Raiders Ice Hockey since 2009.

Previous to their involvement I had been creating the artwork myself so I am very aware of the effort that needs to go into producing a quality magazine which was our primary aim after suffering years of rather amateur photocopied efforts. To do this with the very limited preparation time for a weekly magazine without issue and without fail for 11 years is quite remarkable.

Such was our satisfaction with Kingpin’s work even after the first season that we recommended them to the English Ice Hockey Association to provide the large format souvenir programmes for the annual finals event for the English Premier League. The league were very keen to source a design and supply solution that would also be a revenue maker and Kingpin achieved this and have been appointed every season since.

Kingpin have also been used by the Raiders for numerous other tasks including our own deluxe souvenir programme when our new rink was opened in February 2018. They also supply our more mundane needs such as A5 flyers and hand outs to promote the team through local door drops.

Our rather specialist requirements also allows their creative flair to be fully utilised as Kingpin also design the Raiders team shirts and have again done this for some 10 years. These designs receive rave reviews from our fans, and indeed the rest of the league, whenever they are revealed. Having an attractive team shirt is very important due to the value of the replica shirt market amongst sports fans.

Our only hesitation in recommending Kingpin is that they will become too busy to deal with our needs, but we feel certain that their loyalty to all their customers would result in them finding a solution for that problem also.

GREAT BRITAIN ICE HOCKEY - We have used Kingpin Sports Design on a number of occasions to put together programmes for Ice Hockey UK and Great Britain.

Whether they be large-scale tournament brochures for World Championships, Olympic Qualifying tournaments or one-off match programmes, the detail and the work has always been of the highest standard.

They also did an amazing job of the official tournament logo for the 2019 Olympic Games Qualifying tournament that was held in Nottingham.

UPMINSTER CRICKET CLUB - I contacted Kingpin Sports Design as we were looking to upgrade the production of our annual Benefit Cricket Match with Essex County Cricket Club. A meeting was arranged to ascertain what our needs for the programmes were and what our deadlines for production would be. Time was taken to explain the different options available to us.

When production began there were some issues on our behalf caused by us not having all our articles and adverts available, but the company were extremely patient and helpful with this side of things and assisted some of our sponsors re-design their adverts for the programme.

From our club's point of view we will certainly be asking Kingpin Sports Design to produce the programmes for the future and for all our printing and design requirements as a club moving forward.

ENGLISH ICE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION - When we approached Kingpin Sports Design to produce our end of season showpiece event, the Playoff Finals weekend programmes following a recommendation, we were astounded at their knowledge of the sport of ice hockey and that we were able to leave them to put together an amazing souvenir programme for the fans of all the teams that attended the event.
